Steve A. Vaughn, 58, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2015 with his family by his side after a long illness. Born on July 19, 1956 in California to his parents Charles Vaughn and Claudie Mae Ross, Steve had three passions in life: his children, the military, and motorcycle riding. He was a member of the American Legion post 8, and was proud to have served his country in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. Steve was proceeded in death by his mother, Claudie; father, Harvey; brother, Rodney; and grandparents. He is survived by three daughters, Theresa, Angel, and Victoria; sister, Vicki (Michael); niece, Stefani; and nephew, Bryan. Steve will be laid to rest with his brothers in arms at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada at 12:40 pm, Thursday, July 23, 2015.
