Susan Michael Bradley, 84 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away peacefully on February 20th. 2026 after a brave and valiantly fought battle with a variety of illnesses. Susan is survived by her sons Joseph, Donald and Martin while preceded in death by her daughter Madelyn and their father, Don Sr.
Susan’s formal education would conclude after graduating from Frankford High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1959. A young bride and mother would find Susan on a path of self-discovery raising four children and all the unique challenges that area of life entails. While in Pennsylvania, Susan excelled in caregiving at a variety of facilities including Holy Redeemer Hospital and Chapel Manor. Both locations Susan would work the late shift often referred to as the overnight spot.
Susan’s journey was geographically extensive. Post marriage, Susan would relocate as a single mother to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis Saint Paul area to continue raising Donald and Martin while also exploring interests in the caregiver role, specific to Trinity Care Center outside Farmington, Minnesota. It was during this time that Susan would earn the caregiver of the year award for the entire state of Minnesota.
After leaving the Twin Cities, Susan would enjoy more of life’s successes with her sons while also enhancing her caregiver interests at Silver Ridge Care Center which was admittedly, per Susan’s descriptions, a big cultural shift when compared to her tenure in the Midwest. Challenges notwithstanding, it did not take long for Susan to fit comfortably into the Silver Ridge family and improve its profile. She adored her time immeasurably at Silver Ridge.
Susan resided with the Paseo Del Rey Community along with her sons and served on the HOA board consistently throughout her life in Nevada and was active, engaged and an influential resident who strived to improve the conditions of its residents.
Susan enjoyed gardening, crafting, animals, volunteering and was until relatively recently an active member of Saint Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church on West Sahara Avenue.
