Sylvia Junkins was born on August 10, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York. She passed peacefully on June 16, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was an active member in the community with her husband Philip D. Junkins, leading Kiwanis and key club for many years. She was a great parent, citizen, community activist and did so much to make younger people see their responsibilities in the community. Survived by her 3 stepchildren Kevin Junkins, Steven Junkins, Kellie Gaudet, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by her red hair, charming personality, and love for community and family.
