01/31/1963 – 11/22/2020
Tammy was the first-born child to her Mother, Margaret (Mitzi) Candela (George) and her Father Salvatore (Sam) Candela in Chicago IL. She was welcomed into heaven with open arms by not only her parents, but her second born child Samantha Candela who was taken from this earth as an infant.
She was survived by her loving spouse of 22 years Fred (Lee) Allen Jr, Her Son Joshua Candela (his fiancé Micki Lynn Johnson), Her Daughter Jessica Munson (her husband James Munson), And lastly her Grandchildren Dylan Wolgast, Nevaeh Candela, Gavin Candela, Tanner Candela, Kya Candela, And Mariah Smith.
She was a wild, free-spirited, crazy woman whose life revolved around her loved ones. She never took anything for granted and helped everyone as much as she could. She would give a stranger the shirt off her back even if that is all she had. That is just who she was. She was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 631 Union for over 25 years. She loved her job and was trying to get back into shape to get back to work. She was always one of the guys and kicked butt when needed. Tammy had one of those souls you could not help but love. She had a smile that could make anyone’s day bright and lit up every room she stepped into. “Momma was a rolling stone.” There was never a dull moment when “Krazy Tammy” was around. She was always the life of the party. She did not care what others thought of her. Her personality is what drew her to Las Vegas NV where she raised her 2 surviving children.
They were always on the go and keeping busy. Las Vegas is also where she met the love of her life and her other half Fred Lee Allen Jr.
Tammy was not only the most caring beloved Spouse, but she was also an extraordinary Mother. She had made mistakes just like any mother, but she loved her children dearly and made sure they always knew that. She was the funniest and BEST Grandmother! She would do anything and everything for her grandbabies. She would move mountains for them. Her Grandbabies were her world. Her face would light up every time they were near, and she would brag about them and would tell total strangers, “those are my grandbabies”. You could not ask for a better grandmother. Her grandchildren loved her deeply. They also liked to make her laugh until she peed her pants. In the words of her loved ones, “We are going to miss our crazy lady”.
Partial lyrics to a couple of her favorite songs.
Black Crowes – She Talks to Angels
“She never mentions the word addiction, In certain company. Yes, She’ll tell you she’s an orphan, after you meet her family. She paints her eyes as black as night now, Pulls those shades down tight. Yeah, she gives a smile when the pain comes, the pains gonna make everything alright. Says She talks to angels. They call her out by her name.”
Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven
“Your head is humming and it wont go. In case you don’t know, The Pipers calling you to join him. Dear Lady, can you hear the wind blow? And did you know, your stairway lies on the whispering wind? And as we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our soul, there walks a lady we all know, who shines white light and wants to show, how everything still turns to gold. And if you listen very hard, the tune will come to you at last. When all are one and one is all, to be a rock and not to roll, And she’s buying a stairway to heaven.”
Fred (Lee) Allen jr, Joshua Candela, Jessica & James Munson would like to thank all their family and friends for all their love and support. This has been a tough loss on the family, and it means a lot to them receiving all your support.
