To the Family of our Dearest Terry:

God takes the best ones early for His Kingdom. Proverbs teaches us "trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." The pain will never go away; it becomes more manageable, over time.

I know Terry from UNLV. Regardless of the type of day I was having, when I saw Terry, he always made me laugh. I would say, "how you doing Terry," he would respond, "I'm doing fine Ms. Gail, now that I see you."

We miss you my friend....

I will forever have the memory of Terry's smile and the greetings he would call out to various people as I saw him out and about on campus. He exemplified a service ideal, and always made time to answer questions about the phones. His love for his work and his good heartedness glowed in the dark.

May his memory bless all who ever knew and loved him and may it bring them smiles on life's cloudy days. May his good works on Earth endure.

When I first became employed at UNLV in 2017 Terry was one of the first people outside my department I met. He always had a smile on his face and jokes aplenty, and ready to lend me a hand when needed. He was someone I could always talk to about whenever and if I had a bad day it instantly vanished after seeing and talking to Terry. He will be deeply missed by me and I will think fondly of him.

My sincerest sympathies to Terry’s children, family and friends. Terry was such a wonderful co worker and friend. He always had a smile and a kind word. UNLV has truly lost a exemplary member of our family.

I first met Terry on campus ... just a friendly exchange between a couple of gals walking in one direction while he was on his cart going in the opposite direction. My friend joked with him that she was going to write him a ticket for speeding and we had a laugh and a nice conversation. After that, every time I saw him, he took the time to talk and offer me a ride on his golf cart if I was walking from one side of campus to another (a welcome invitation just about any time of year in Las Vegas). Terry was always such a pleasure to run into at UNLV. Whether it was an actual service call or bumping into him at a function on campus, he was always friendly, funny, helpful, and witty. He will be missed! My love and condolences go out to his family and loved ones. You'll be in my thoughts... <3

I only knew Terry in passing when he came to set up the new phone system at the library. He was a nice and upbeat guy. He made me feel like getting a new system was the greatest thing in the world. We would see each other and he would always acknowledge me with a smile, even though we barely knew each other. May he Rest in Peace.
