Teresa Ann Dawes, 57, a retired blackjack dealer, passed away Sept. 13, 2010. She was born April 10, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, and was a 55-year resident of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert. Teresa is survived by her son, Steven Vozzola of Las Vegas; daughter, Sheryl (Oscar) Aliaga of North Las Vegas; son, Sam Orf; father, Richard Dawes; mother, Billye Dawes; grandchildren, Andrew, Marcos, Oscar Jr., Avery and Jackson, all of Las Vegas; and sisters, Janie, Sheila, Marcy and Debbie. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
