Theodore Richard Drew

SSG Theodore Richard Drew passed on October 5, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born June 15, 1946, in Newton, New Jersey to Theodore S. and Estelle S. (Shultz) Drew. He graduated from Arcadia (California) High School and Pasadena College with a B.A. of History and English Communications. His working career started as a salesman at Harris & Frank, became a teacher, a department manager at Sears, a manager of a toy distributor, a regional manager at Control Data and Arbitron Ratings before returning to teaching. He also served six years in the California National Guard. He married the love of his life, Leslie Presedes, on July 17, 1994, and enjoyed 33 wonderful years together.

Theodore was an avid military history buff, especially World War II and aviation buff. His hobbies included building plastic models in his youth and lifelong listener of shortwave radio. He enjoyed taking cruises with Leslie throughout the Caribbean and Pacific regions.

Theodore is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie Drew; son, Capt Christopher Drew, USAF (Ret); sister, Ellen Drew and numerous other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131 89131, on October 14, 2026, at 11:00 am.
