Theodore was born in Stanton, Tennessee on January 2, 1944 to Robert Lee Whitmore and Rosa Lee Lewis who proceeded him in death along with his beloved siblings; Lemon C. “Skut” Blair, Rosa Felton and nephew Gregory Felton.
He relocated to St. Louis, Missouri when he was a young boy. As a young man, he was employed by Intertherm where he met one of his best friends; Donald “Duck-Table Leg” Tabron. He soon met Ruby Smothers and moved to Los Angeles in 1976 and were married there in 1987.
Theodore began working for Warner Brothers Music Division where he met many of his lifelong friends and they affectionately knew him as “Teddy”. He loved his friends and job and they loved him right back. He was a dedicated employee and retired after 26 years and in 2002 he and Ruby moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Theodore loved family. He was definitely a people person and he loved socializing. He would visit St. Louis for months at a time with family and friends. He always found time to visit everyone including his life-long friends Duck and Harold.
Whenever he was in town, there was always a lot of cooking between him and his sister, Rosa. Friends and family would travel near and far to visit him and he always found time to travel to Tennessee to visit his brother, AD Whitmore in Stanton.
Theodore will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.
