Thomas L. Eggleston, 77 of North Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011. He was born October 21, 1933 in Painsville, Ohio and was a resident of Nevada for over 30 years. Thomas retired after 21 years serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a retired investigator for the State of Nevada. Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Malone; and son, Edward Eggleston. Thomas is survived by his wife, Vivian Jean Eggleston; and son, Rick Henderson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, April 29. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be at noon Monday, May 2, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd.
