Timothy Wayne Burkett

July 25, 1960 - March 14 ,2024

Timothy (Tim) W. Burkett 63, of North Las Vegas, passed away peacefully with family at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas NV. He was born July 25, 1960 in La Mesa CA to Harold and Bettie Burkett.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking long hikes and soaking up the sun. When he wasn't outdoors, he always had a book in his hands. He had a thirst for knowledge which he used to received his MBA from Cal State Bakersfield.

He is preceded in death by parents, Harold and Bettie, and sister Lisa. He is survived by sisters Debbie (Walter) Jobe and Patrice (David) Bird. Niece Alexis (Martin) Ledezma and Nephew Andrew (Hannah) Bird

As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Family, Friends and others whose lives Tim touched are invited to Greenlawn Funeral Home Northeast, 3700 River Blvd Bakersfield, visitation at 9:30am followed by graveside services at 10 am, Friday, April 5, 2024 to reminisce, grieve and support each other to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank Palm (Cheyenne) Mortuary, Las Vegas for their assistance in bringing Tim home.

The Broken Chain

We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly,In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side.
