Tony Giarmo, 70, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully in his home February 23, 2015. He was born August 6, 1944 in Monroe, Michigan to his parents Samuel Giarmo and Theresa Grego. Tony served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and as a police officer, prior to settling in Las Vegas in 1974. He worked for over 28 years for the Clark County School District as a Safety Inspector until retiring in 2008. Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather; whom loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, and supporting his Detroit, Lions football team. Tony is survived by his wife of 25 years, Anna; three children: Tim (Coral), Deanna, and Gabby (Ben); two sisters: Patricia and Tina; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and many friends.
