Dad, I am so sorry I was not there to see you off in your journey. This pains me forever, though I remember the great times you taught me how to defend myself those precious moments. I will always keep dearly to my heart, and I can only hope to pass the The science of *Boxing as you call it to others, and to be a great man as you were, I struggle through life, though you knew this, and you taught me how to be aware of men’s aggressions toward other men, 
I miss you dearly man. I grew up with men and the lure of being a man there are none like you no more around here .I’m just trying to make sense of all this damn freaking sensitive the way. I walk and talk is not of the world no more And just trying to find my way to be a good father, i will always Love you, dad you are miss dearly.

Uncle Tony was a inspiration to me I was about 12 or 13 years old and he and Madeline asked me to babysit there 2 little ones after school it was the joy of my life . I don’t remember what happened but then they just left I heard they moved to Las Vegas after all the years that have passed I held them all in my heart ❤️ Rest in Heaven my Uncle Tony 💕💕

Dear Madeline and Family,
Tony was a true CHAMP! It was a month ago that he left this earthly world and walked through those pearly gates. What a wonderful man he was. I have fond recent memories of Tony both at your recent birthday celebration and at my brother 's funeral. The venue you chose to hold his memorial service in las Vegas was a perfect place to commemorate his life as a boxer, coach, mentor, as well as, husband, father, and grandfather.  My mom and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Tony Mora was a very beautiful and outgoing person through out the years, knowing him like a brother inlaw he never told me anything negative regarding my adventures, for that in my heart he takes my love and respect for him. God Bless his soul.

Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of Tony. I pray that in the midst of your sorrow you find comfort in all the joy full memories shared. I wish I could be in both places at the same time, on Saturday July 11th 2015 I will be in Lauderdale, Florida for my induction into the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame,  unfortunately the same day, my dear friend TONY MORA will be receiving a funerary tribute at Richard Steele Boxing Gym.

I met Tony Mora in 1999 at the Nevada Partners Boxing Gym, I had the opportunity to become his friend and to talk to him always about his favorite topic, boxing. He loved boxing as much as we do and even though I won't be in person in his tribute, I will be there in spirit.

I talked to his daughter Cindy and she told me that her dad would be very proud of me with my induction into the Hall of Fame, I agree with her and I will share this accomplishment with him, wherever he is.

When I think of Tony, his friendly and smiling face come to my mind, it is a beautiful picture that makes me remember about his hard work with the young kids. Tony even was giving them rides to the gym, he was always there for them with a piece of advice and with a hand to offer to anyone looking for help and I include myself.

It is a pity that I can't attend to TONY MORA's farewell, he was a wonderful person, sharing his knowledge of boxing with the community, he was kind and generous and he worked tremendously with the kids. We should be very thankful for his effort to help the boxing family.

Gracias Tony por tu amistad, por tu trabajo y por tu entrega a la comunidad boxistica.

When I was a child, Tony help me through life struggles. He saw something in me that only he could describe best. The moment spent with Tony were great and they transformed my life for the best. Tony will always be in my heart. Thank you Tony for living life, loving us and teaching us how to live. I have so many great memories of Mr. Mora AKA "Einstein".  I remember one night visiting Rich in Arcadia and to my surprise a door come flying out onto the back yard, when I asked Rich what was happening he nonchalantly replied "Einstein is mad because Cindy locked herself in the room....
