

Tony Mora a “Boxing Legend” passed away peaceful on July 1st, 2015 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. His preceded in death by his parents Albert Bill Mora and Jesusita Lugo Vega. Born in East LA, CA on April 29th, 1936. The youngest of 12 siblings. Tony is survived by Madeline his wife of 51 years, Daughter Cyndi and her husband Ruben Sabedra, Son Tony Mora Jr., Son Richard Mora and his wife Erica, Daughter Dolores Lopez, Grand-children; Tony III, Dean, Iviahna and Christian, Great-grandchild; Maya and Numerous Relatives; Rangel, Mora and Castillo. Also an abundance of Boxers and Friends that loved him as a father and a mentor. Originally he came to Vegas in the 1950’s as a professional boxer and returned in the 70’s as a Professional Coach, Manager and Boxing Promoter. One of the Founders of the Golden-Gloves boxing gym and volunteered thousands of hours to the youth teaching them The Sweet Science of Boxing. In Lieu of flowers Tony's wishes were that a donation be made in his Honor to his friend Mr. Richard Steele at Richard Steele Foundation and Boxing Gym. Please go to www.richardsteelefoundation.org
