Torey Ann Blake (Ladybug), age 32, embarked on the next part of her journey on February 9, 2018. She was born on September 2, 1985 in St George, Utah. She grew up in Washington, Utah and graduated from Pine View High School in 2004. She spent the remaining time of her life living in Las Vegas, NV. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin and friend to all she met.
Torey loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and served in many different capacities in her church, offering complete devotion in whatever calling she was asked to serve in. Her favorite calling was serving with the children in the Primary of the Lynbrook Ward. She got pure joy in visiting the temple and doing the Lord's work. Her most recent desire was to serve the Lord through a service mission.
Everyone is going to miss her energy, her smile, and her sweet innocence. Torey especially made an impact in her neighborhood where she could always be found at the park teaching the kids how to make loom bracelets or craft, riding her bike, sharing her special treats, laughing her contagious laugh, and making sure everyone was happy.
Her family was her whole life. She is survived by her parents Juliana and Mike Laythorpe, her sister Breanna Laythorpe, grandparents Margarett and Richard Blake, Leilani and Walter Heslip (deceased), Elsie and Frank Laythorpe (deceased), Lois and Jerry Tarkanian (deceased).
