Dear Torrye,

I can't express how shocked I am to find out about your passing.

We met when you were stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany in the 1990s.  I was the admin support of the airfield operations flight and you worked in  the flight's radar section.  We became friends; and kept in touch over the years. 

Even if we hadn't heard from each other in a while, when we texted again it was like no time had passed.  That was YOU!  

You were the warmest, the sweetest and the most positive person I will ever know.  I have never met anyone so good from the buttom of the heart!  Only angels are as good as you.
 
I am so blessed our paths crossed.

You are forever in my heart.

Torrey was undoubtedly one of the sweetest souls I was blessed to have in my life.  To Torrye's family; she touched so many people...across the globe and we were all made better from ever  crossing paths. I know she is looking  down, watching over us with that radiant spirit and smile

When Torrye became the leader of the Welcome Ministry, she had already made an impact with me. Her infectious smile from day one, no matter what was going on, she greeted you with a hug.
I learned so much from Torrye, never would have thought, she was training me to follow in her footsteps when she chose to step down as our leader. Even while she was recovering, Torrye and Loretta still served their Ministry. We texted often, she still had me laughing throughout the pandemic. Thank you for sharing your Torrye with us, with me. I loved Torrye. I pray as she RIH, she will know the true impact of the love she gave not only to her family, but to so many others.  Tia Jones

I miss her so much .  She has been a wonderful friend for the last 5 years .  Me and my husband couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor.  Thank you for making laugh and smile.  Thank you for sharing my ups and downs.  Thank you for wiping my tears and allowing me to wipe yours . Rest well my true friend .   Love you T!!! 

Dear Torrye, 

You left us on Angel's Wings before we were ready to let you go. From the first time we laid eyes on you, you stole our hearts with your infectious smile and big dimples. You claimed us as your new family, and you became our daughter that day. We laughed, cried together and even got mad at each other like families do. But in the end, we remained family and friends. We laughed together when people would say "I can tell you are mother and daughter. You look so much alike." Oh, how we would laugh and say thank you. What a joy we had getting to know you. Our kids loved you as a big sister. You will always have a special place in our hearts that could never be replaced. We love you as our own, respect you as a person with integrity, a kind and caring heart and we will never forget the love we shared. Thank you for picking us to be a part of your life.

Hello Jessica and Jonathan,

Your mother is such a bright light and warm spirit. She was my friend. Her quick wit and genuine appreciation for my singing and joyfilled hugs was unmatched! I will miss her smiles and kindness. I hope you find comfort in my words about your mom. I would love to look out from that choir stand and see her beaming smile and hand wave. She will not be forgotten and she is sorely missed!

Dear Jessica and Jonathan your mom Mrs Torrye was such kind heart woman she love everyone she was amazing to talk to give a good advice and site back when just need someone to talk and listen she had such blessed heart and strong spirit of child of God even though left too soon but she don't have be in no more pain she look down and smile on y'all  from shandise davis aka sha love y'all family in my prayers
