

Trudi Loene Cisneros Klatt died on September 9th, 2026, from complications related to sepsis and multi-system organ failure after nearly a month spent fighting courageously at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Trudi’s loved ones hugged and comforted her during her last days including: Her daughter (Nina Niemeyer) & son-in-law (Doug Theisen), her son (Kirk Niemeyer) her granddaughter (Natalie Niemeyer), her nieces (Shannon Medeiros, Kayla & Kiana Schneider) and Pastor Greg and Ruth Niemeyer.
Trudi Loene Klatt was born in Palo Alto, California on July 20 th, 1945. She grew up nearby in Mountain View, with parents, Theodore and Edythe Klatt, brothers, Craig, Erik, Reid, and sister, Brenda. A young, carefree Trudi loved climbing cherry trees in their orchard and eating to her heart’s content. She later attended Cupertino High School. Trudi worked at FMC in San Jose, where she met her future husband and father of her children, Raoul Kalani Niemeyer, and eventually settled down to raise her children in Campbell, California.
Trudi was a dedicated wife and mother, who always put her family first. She was the ultimate football team and cheer squad mom, girl scouts & cub scouts’ leader, school field trip organizer and orchestrator of all things Halloween and Christmas. She was a great cook and baker and shared her love of food with her children. Trudi, almost single handedly, prepared and hosted many luaus, chili and spaghetti feasts, holiday meals and birthday parties. She always prioritized her children, even while working for the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office as a clerk in the records, warrants and fingerprinting unit. Trudi later met Isaiah Cisneros at the Sheriff’s Office and remarried in Hawaii. After a long career at the S.O., they both retired in 1999 and moved to Topock, Arizona, where they enjoyed retirement time gardening, camping in their travel trailer, and fishing and boating on the Colorado River. Trudi liked crocheting, sewing and pleasure reading. They ultimately wound up in Fresno, California where they appreciated the abundance of amenities and fresh produce available in the valley.
Trudi spent the last four years of her life in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada near her daughter, Nina, and only grandchild, Natalie. She enjoyed eating out and loved the tremendous variety of restaurants available. She also attended many theatrical productions, worked out twice a week at the gym with her trainer and cheered for Maxx Crosby from the comfort of her living room. Trudi is survived by her daughter, Dr. Nina Loene Niemeyer and her husband, Doug Theisen, as well as her son, Kirk Jason Niemeyer, his wife, Cynthia Anne Niemeyer & granddaughter, Natalie Anne Niemeyer. Her burial and celebration of life will be in early 2027, specifics to be determined.
