Trudy Rimer, predeceased by her beloved husband Russ, and loving mother to son Thomas, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026. Trudy was born in Detroit, Michigan on Dec. 24, 1935, and lived in the metro Detroit area until 1993, when her and Russ moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, a city they both came to love very much.
An accountant by trade, Trudy was not only skilled at keeping track of numbers, but she also organized many family events throughout the years with her four siblings and their children and grandchildren. She was very active in the Women’s Club and other groups in the Los Prados community in Las Vegas. Trudy was a very social person and made friends readily, whom she treasured throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at the Palm Mortuary at 6701 N. Jones Blvd. in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 18 at 1pm, followed by a luncheon to celebrate her amazing life.
