Tyrell Edward Pratt

Sunrise: March 22, 1999 – Sunset February 6, 2026

Tyrell was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Centennial High School in 2017 and enlisted in the United States Air Force; Security Forces. After serving four years of Active Duty, he was honorably discharged and enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves; Aerospace Medical Services Technician. Tyrell also worked at the Horseshoe Las Vegas in Surveillance, the Rio Hotel and Casino in Surveillance, and the MGM Grand Las Vegas in Security. He was a volunteer EMT assigned to Station 79 with the Clark County Fire Department.

Tyrell earned his Associate of Science with High Honors from the College of Southern Nevada and earned his Bachelors of Applied Health Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is the co-author of a published study in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease titled “Distinct Glial Functions are Associated with Alzheimer’s Disease Based on Cell-Type and Pathway-Specific Polygenic Risk Score Analysis.” Tyrell was active in Judo and a member of the Rebel Judo dojo.

Tyrell is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Donald Major and paternal grandfather Richard Thomas. He is survived by his mother and step-father Cassondra and Vaughn Moody; father Eric Wheaton; brother Robert (Jenny) Pratt; sisters Vanessa (Jess) Moody-Raudales and Kristine Moody; maternal grandmother Margaret Major and paternal grandmother Ruby Thomas; nieces and nephews Naya, Jimmie, Rapheal, Phoenix, Kenzo, Ariyah and Samira; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, US, on March 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, US, on March 13, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
