I have known Valerie since I was a teenager. She was generous with her time and her possessions. She took a great deal of pride in her work, which was always meticulous. She was an excellent gardener and grew the most beautiful roses. She shared the bounty of her garden and her fruit trees. I think she was most proud of her family. She always shared stories of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed and remembered.

Her service was today at the Boulder City Veteran's Cemetery to be with my Dad, and I want to thank everyone for their love and kindness, and to Palm for such respect and compassion for both my parents (father in 2008, and mother today).

We will miss you Val. We already missed not seeing you at Bonanza with your impeccable style. All the help over the years will never be forgotten. God Bless you all.

Valerie was a wonderful sweet lady.  I worked with her at Bonanza. I looked forward to pay day week. Because I new I would see Valerie. She reminded me of my grandmother.

This women holds a very special place in my heart.  I will never forget our sweet Val. She is such an amazing women.  I always enjoyed her stories, her kind words, and of course to get a few of those great tomatoes (when she had a good season).

I have lovely memories of my Aunt Valerie and your Dad.  I always thought of her as "the beautiful Aunt".  It was a wonderful time when you and the family came to visit us.  My parents loved your folks and their time together.  It was good of you to call and to hear your voice, which amazed me because you sound such a lot like her on the phone.
