Vanessa Dawn Holcomb, 42, passed away on June 1, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Born on October 31, 1983, in Gallup, New Mexico, Vanessa later made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she built a life marked by devotion, resilience, and quiet bravery.
For 15 years, Vanessa worked as a pharmacy technician, bringing steady dedication and care to her work. She carried herself with honesty and thoughtfulness, offering compassion with a gentle presence and a kind heart that made others feel seen and valued.

She also knew how to bring lightness into everyday life, laughing at quirky memes and videos, and sharing a warm, humorous spark that stayed with those around her.
An adventurous soul, Vanessa delighted in the thrill of riding roller coasters—especially the scary ones—and found peace in nature’s drama, listening to thunder and watching lightning. She loved standing in the rain in her raincoat, and she cherished days at Mount Charleston spent hiking and enjoying picnics. Above all, she treasured her family and friends and she cherished the companionship of her beloved dogs, whose presence brought comfort and joy.
