Our lovely mother went home to Jesus on March 3, at 2:15am. She was born on December 4, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to Richard and Georgia (Slocum) Protze. She was the 2nd of 4 children: Clifford 1930, Mom 1931 and twins Ruth and Ronald 1934.
She graduated from Mountaire High School. Mom had a beautiful voice and sang for the USO at Lowry AFB where she met her husband Paul H. Heiser. They were married in Denver, January 1, 1953. They had 2 children Vicki Sue (Steve) 1955 and John Edward (Jackie) Heiser 1958. Mom has 4 grandchildren Julie (Michael) Elrod Olson 1978, Stephen (Ryan) Kaiser 1985, Matthew Kaiser 1990, Christopher (Shannon) Heiser 1996.
She has 2 GREAT grandchildren Brendon Nelson 2000 and Ian Olson 2010. Mom retired from from the phone company and moved to Las Vegas with her sister Ruth and mother, where she lived for 30 years. She grew up riding horses and barrel racing and singing along with the "Sons of the Pioneers, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and the like." She was a wonderful mother and a strong person who loved her family. God blessed us.
