

Vincent A. Lotta Jr., 79, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at his home March 11, 2014. He was born March 5, 1935 in Rochester New York to Vincent Anthony Lotta, Sr. and Carmela Fortunato. Vincent made his living working as a carpenter, which brought him to Las Vegas in 1996. He married Charlotte, his best friend and companion in 1990, which together they blended their family of nine children. Vincent worked for over 40 years prior to retiring from Wal-Mart in 2010. Vincent was a very enthusiastic sports fan, who loved supporting his favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed golfing, and supporting Jimmy Johnson, his favorite Nascar driver. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will truly be missed. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Carmela; one son, Michael Lotta; sisters Fran Bagnato and Carmela Antinone, and three brothers: Anthony, Donald, and Patrick Lotta. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; children: Debbie MacDowell (Shawn), JoAnn Thomas ,Vincent Lotta (Ellen), Kenneth Lotta, Sharon Prouty (Roger), Kathleen Griepsman (Michael), Wendy Rolnick (John), and Raymond Kenyon; brother, Robert Lotta, sister, Theresa Ferrari; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
