Ernest W. Brees passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. "Wally" lived a long adventurous life. Many of you may remember his smiling face at the Coffee Pub for 15 years. Wally was a courageous man with a lust for life and enjoyed people. His goal was to make other people happy. He always had a great story and loved telling them. Wally had two children, Marty Brees and the late, Maria Wise. He has left behind his wife, of 62 years, Eleanor; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Wally was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific during World War II. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. He will be missed.
