Walter Wayne Wetherington

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday March 26th, 2025 at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Arrangements are by Palm Northwest Mortuary.

Walter was born in Jacksonville, FL to Walter Ralph and Bealie Wetherington on October 3rd, 1942. He married Elena Palconit on January 30th, 1993 in Biliran, Philippines. He worked as an Electronics Warfare Tech for the US Navy for almost 22 years. He was a veteran of The Vietnam War and served in the Navy. He was involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed fishing, political news, and dogs.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bealie Wetherington and his brother Ralph Boyde Wetherington. Walter is survived by his wife, Elena, his children Lisa Wetherington and Wayne Wetherington and his grandchildren, Victoria Wetherington and Aiden Royce Wetherington.

Memorials may be given to Elena Wetherington.

A celebration of life for Walter will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
