

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren Francis O’Brien, age 88, a beloved soul of Las Vegas, Nevada, who left us peacefully on March 15, 2025, after a life richly filled with family, laughter, and love. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Warren’s legacy of family, strength, and wisdom will forever be cherished by all. Born on July 28, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, Warren was the eldest of five children. Warren was a beacon of light and hope for his family. His wife, Emily, was his pride and joy. Warren adored her for over 50 years and ensured she was always safe and well taken care of in the home they built in Long Island, New York. Warren was a dedicated father to five children–Warren (MaryJean), Patricia (Rocco), Christopher (Denise), Michael (Kim), and Rosanne (Eric). In addition to his children, Warren is a grandfather to ten and a great grandfather to three who will continue to carry on his legacy. His children were his pride and joy and his lighthearted spirit and stories and amazing sense of humor will continue to be remembered by all. Warren was known for his keen sense of making people feel important and was a true hero in everyone’s eyes. He dedicated his life to serving the public from his early years in the United States Navy to becoming a NYPD police detective. Warren left no stone unturned as he continued his career as a state investigator and then traveled west to serve the Las Vegas community as a private investigator in the hospitality industry.
Though Warren has left us, his impact on the world and his family will never be forgotten. He was a rock for his family, a true friend to many, and a pillar of integrity. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the kindness he spread.
Warren F. O’Brien will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Dad—you will forever live on in the hearts of your children and grandchildren.

A visitation for Warren will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
