William Webster Utton Sr.

As a prominent member of the Las Vegas Broadcast community, Bill found his work home at KVVU Fox 5 for over 30 years. During that time, he also enjoyed participating in several charitable foundations such as Children’s Miracle Network, Nevada Child Seekers, Shriners, and the Masonic Lodge to name a few. During his younger years, Bill enjoyed performing on stage and on the radio as a Disc Jockey. The man really could command a room with an unforgettable voice and flare for entertaining.

Bill was the most amazing husband, family man and friend. You never felt like a stranger in his presence. Every family member felt comfort and love when they were around him. From Holidays to simple family gatherings, Bill was always bringing the life to the party with open arms.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Anna Utton and Dana & Ellen Utton, 4 brothers John, Dan, Robert and James and a sister Mary. Also preceded in death, granddaughter Laci Utton.

Bill is survived by his wife Bonnie of 38 years; 8 children, Deidre (Ray) Rickelman, Debra (Terry) Meyhoff, Nova Pakulak, Toni (Dan) O’Neill, Vern (Gina) Sorenson, Jenny (Bart) Bledsoe, William (Christy) Utton Jr., and Joseph Utton. Also survived by Amber Utton, 26 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchild.

A visitation for William will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146. A burial service will occur Friday, February 18, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
