Willie dedicated much of his life to serving others. After enlisting in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter, he rose to the rank of Captain and served his country faithfully for 30 years. Upon retiring, he continued to embody the values of leadership, courage, and camaraderie instilled in him during his military career.
Off-duty, Willie was a sports enthusiast who loved playing racquetball, basketball, and football. He was known for his friendly competitiveness and for bringing people together on courts and fields.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Sr.; his mother, Gloria; and his sister, Jacqueline. Willie is survived by his devoted wife, Regina; daughters Kristine, Shaunece, and Mary; son Christian; and grandchildren Olivia, Christian, Andrew, and Renee. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
Willie’s legacy is one of selflessness—in his 30‑year military career, in his love for family and sports, and in the lives he touched across communities. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his strength, dedication, and warmth.
A visitation for Willie will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A committal service will occur Friday, July 11, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
