Yoshiko Adams (n’ee Takahashi) age 90, passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. Born on February 5, 1934, in Kawasaki, Japan, Yoshiko moved to the United Sates, where she built a fulfilling life, marked by dedication, love and service.
Yoshiko spent many years as a nurturing nursing assistant at the Riverton Memorial Hospital. After marrying Charles Adams, she continued her career in California, providing care and comfort to countless individuals until their retirement. The couple then settled in Payson, Arizona enjoying their years together until Charles passing.
Known for her kindness and generous spirit, Yoshiko was a beloved figure in her community and among her friends. She cherished activities like playing bingo, slot machines and the lottery and held fond memories of fishing and camping. Yoshiko enjoyed telling stories of her life in Japan as well as her adventures in the US.
Yoshiko is survived by a loving family, including one son and three daughters, Dorothy Richards, Donald Jones, Rhonda Wilson and Donna Barkholz; two stepchildren, Jamie Adams and Alina Adams; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Adams, daughter, Kathleen A. English; her parents in Japan and many cherished family members.
