Yvonne Teresa Rossiter Enriquez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 70. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jesus Enriquez, and their daughter, Judy Rae Harrill (Zachary). Yvonne was preceded in death by her son, Eric Larson (Belinda), who passed away in 2021.
Born on October 17, 1955, in Duluth, Minnesota, Yvonne was the cherished second child of the late John Henry Rossiter and Elinor Rossiter. She grew up in Saginaw, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving family, and was the proud sister of six siblings: Diane Caskey (Paul), Debra Livadaros (Alex), Jeffery Rossiter (Laurie), Judy Pauletich (Mark), David Rossiter (Cami), and Daniel Rossiter (Dana). Yvonne is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who became family over the years.
Yvonne graduated from Proctor High School in 1974, where she was an active member of the cheerleading squad and debate team. Known for her lively spirit, she could always be counted on to cut a mean jitterbug during homecoming week assemblies, a memory that her classmates will always cherish.
Yvonne dedicated much of her life to caring for others, and she spent the last 21 years working at the Veterans Administration in the Spinal Cord Clinic as a certified spinal cord specialist Registered Nurse. She retired in April 2025, but she left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion for both her patients and her coworkers. An active member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), Yvonne showed endless support and care for the veterans she worked with, touching the lives of all who knew her with her warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering strength.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Yvonne was a woman of grace and boundless love. She was deeply devoted to her family and community, often finding joy in baking, volunteering, and supporting the Veterans of America. A die hard New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings fan, always routing for the underdogs. Her spirit of generosity and selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Yvonne’s presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Heaven has gained another angel.
A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held on 12/20/25 at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, beginning with a wake at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service and a reception. Food will be provided for all guests. A memorial in Minnesota will be held later in the spring (date to be announced). All are welcome to attend and share in the memories of a woman who made the world a better place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to PVA http://Nevadapva.org
