Zack's family is deeply grateful for all who were able to attend his Virtual Memorial Service, and to those that shared "in person", or sent their written memories. The patience and grace that was extended as we tried something new was most appreciated. We were joined by friends and loved ones in Pennsylvania, Oregon, Texas, Nevada, and Colorado. Thank you all for such a special tribute. A video of Zack's Remembrance is forthcoming.

Zack was the most loving son to his mom, Sonny, and dad, Paul. He sent flowers often and called regularly to talk and express his love to them. He knew being a son was a gift; and was a grateful, caring, and loving person to his parents. His sister, Jessica, was his biggest supporter and confidant as he was to her. They spent hours talking and laughing. Their childhood was filled with fun and love. They had a great friendship as children that flourished in adulthood. We are so proud of the man he became while still being that silly boy we watched grow.
He was a loving uncle, to Persephanie and Trajan Alcon. He never forgot their birthdays and called to say hi often. Their father Isaac, bonded with Zack, as they were both chefs.
Zack was a great chef and boss. He took his job at the Venetian in Las Vegas, seriously and loved his crew. He worked there 16 years, dedicating his time to his craft and the people who worked with him. He recently began a new career path at the Sphere. His excitement at the new opportunities filled him with joy, creativity and vision.
He loved to game, cook, and eat. He loved music, UFC and Dragon Ball Z. He most enjoyed spreading love and laughter and spending time with those closest to him.
Zack was born in Syracuse, New York; September 23, 1981. He graduated from NNCS, Norwood, New York, in 2000. He attended the CIA, Poughkeepsie, New York in 2000 - 2003. He spent time in Keystone and Boulder, Colorado. His final years in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles in New York and Korea.
Our lives will never be the same without him. His 42 years of life enriched us all on our journey together. He will be solemnly missed and joyfully remembered.
"You're a butterfly in the wind without a care."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any contributions be made to https://samaritanhousenv.org or https://sharelasvegas.org in loving memory of Zack.
