Zachary Miller

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Zachary Joseph Miller died following a brief illness at the age of 39. Zach showed strength and bravery as he faced rapid changes in his health in the final days of his life. Zach is survived by his loving parents and extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Zach was a native of Las Vegas, NV. He graduated from Centennial High School in 2001 and earned his bachelor’s degree from William Penn University. Many of Zach’s deepest friendships were with people he met during his undergraduate years. Zach continued his studies at University of Phoenix to earn his Master’s Degree in Counseling - School Counseling. During his tenure as a school counselor, Zach worked with at risk students and their families to face life’s challenges. Zach had a passion for baseball and was a talented baseball player from childhood to adult leagues earning a baseball scholarship to pursue his undergraduate degree while awarded Academic All- Conference baseball. Zach was a sports enthusiast who especially enjoyed participating in UFC fighting, golf, pool, collecting baseball memorabilia, and watching his favorite teams: Chicago Cubs, Vegas Golden Knights, and Green Bay Packers. We mourn his passing but celebrate his life and know that Zach was a genuinely loved young man. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any organization you support. Services will be private.
