My sincerest condolences go out to Estelle's family in this very touching moment of their lives. I'll miss seeing Estelle occasionally while visiting DC, but my fondest memories will always include her when remembering our childhood days in Carver Terrace.

I took some time to think about of all the good times I had with Estelle Nona and Vonnie and I am still smiling. It seems like only yesterday that I was babysitting for the summer in her home. I will always think of Estelle with love and laughter. I am so blessed to have know Estelle Mitchell.

My heartfelt condolences are with you and your family during this difficult time.  Ms. Estelle and my father, Maurice Culbreath attended Spingarn together.  I had the pleasure of meeting your Mom about six years ago over my parents house.  More recently, Ms. Estelle attended my Father's 70th bday party in 2013 and attended my Mom's 70th bday party in August.  It was a pleasure being in her company, she always made me laugh because she would  get on my father every time she saw him--Ms. Estelle was definitely time of enough for him.

I will miss my friend. and meeting her two precious darlings, Vonnie,and Rhonda at St Paul. We kept in touch on Facebook and said how pretty my Aunt Ruby looked. We were neighbor in Carver Terrace. May our Father comfort the whole family. Jean Abbott Carter

She was a classmate and friend at Spingarn and I found out last year at my home when she visited, that my Basketball teammate at Bowie State U. was her cousin. (Small World)Estelle and I also had a friendly rival -Livingston v. Bowie. My condolences go out to the Family and Friends.
