Mrs Hebron Murray was an angel with sunglasses .  She always had a positive attitude and shared her love with all. Even though she was battling for her life she always smiled and found positives to focus on. She always shared how fond and proud she was of her grandson (at Howard U) and how good Mr. Murray her husband took care of her. She is truly missed !

Thelma, I'm feeling pain in the worst kind of way as I acknowledge and accept that you have transitioned.  Since meeting you in 1972, and being classmates with you at UDC and Howard University, you have been nothing but the best friend that I could have ever had.  Time had put a lot of space between us, but whenever we ran into each other, it was like we had just spoken the day before.  I thank God for putting you in my life and allowing me to share many laughs and conversations about how to get ahead in life.  Go on and accept your wings, and I thank you for all that you gave!

Mrs. Thelma was a delight to work with. I am so sorry for her loss and will keep her family in my prayers.

The Lord is our Light and our salvation whom and what shall we fear. Thelma was a refreshing spirit with her infectious smile which she wore so beautifully. I met Thelma through another dear friend as I started my SW career at DCPS and Thelma connected with me as if we knew one another for years. We studied  social work material together.  Thelma loved gaining knowledge about things she was passionate about. She is an Angel now that will continue to minister to all those she love and love her. To Omar and the rest of the family lean on your Higher Power to strengthen and keep you as the days linger on.

To the Family, Thelma & I were employed at DC CFSA & later we were together at the Mayor's Services Liaison Office. She was an avid reader & we often shared books by our favorite christian fiction authors. Her dry sense of humor & that look on her face often left me shaking my head & trying not to laugh too loud. Most importantly, she loved sharing stories of her family whom she dearly loved. Hold on to your precious memories. You have my sincere condolences. God bless you!!!
