She was married to William Brown. They had three children. Ardelia loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Ardelia was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents, Pierce and LuElla Washington; her siblings; James Phillip Washington, Marie Tooson, Iola Washington and Joe Lewis Washington.
Ardelia is survived by her Sisters; Bertha Hopson, Ella Johnson, Dora Hicks, LuCinda Moore, Pearl Pruitt, Delois Jones: her brother; Pierce Washington Jr.: two sons; Dave "Terrell" and Kelvin “Ray”(Sherri) and her daughter; Patrice: her grandchildren; Crystal, Erica, Felecia, Ebony, Briandrea, Myles, Tyhanie and Tenisha: and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and family and friends.
