Edward E. LeMaster

January 21, 1945 – June 11, 2025

Edward Eugene LeMaster, 80, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Helen Louise Satterfield and Virgil Harris, Ed is lovingly remembered by his daughters Noelle Copeland, Alexis LeMaster, and Joy Ann Cassitty.

Ed was a devoted husband, proud father, and beloved “Papa Bear.” He shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Gwendolyn LeMaster (Watson), who preceded him in death just two months earlier. Their bond was one of deep love and unwavering commitment, and we find comfort in knowing they are together again in Heaven.

Ed cherished the quiet joys of life—reading a good book, worshiping with his church family, taking long drives through the mountains, and spending time with his grandchildren. His presence was steady, his heart generous, and his love for his family unmatched.

A memorial service to celebrate Ed’s life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at North Metro Baptist Church, 1047 Highway 124, Hoschton, GA 30548. The family will begin receiving guests at 1:30 PM, with a visitation to follow immediately after the service at 3:00 PM, also at the church. Flowers may be sent to the church.

Ed’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
