Lee Ann was born November 20, 1931 in Cape Girardeau, MO. to Ruth Dale Lehr and John Henry Lehr, and died November 16, 2019 in Atlanta. She lived on her grandparent’s farm in Missouri as a small child until the family moved to Flint, Michigan. They moved to Atlanta when Lee Ann was a teen. She graduated from Washington Seminary where she enjoyed being a Phi Pi sorority girl and made life-long friends. She attended UGA with her adored Chi Omega sisters on an art scholarship presented by Lamar Dodd and studied at the Art Students League in New York. Prior to her marriage she worked as a fashion illustrator for Rich’s Department store. She studied flower arranging and cooking in Tokyo Japan while her husband was stationed there in the Army. They lived in Allentown, PA during their marriage and Lee Ann returned to Atlanta after their divorce. Lee Ann loved to paint and sketch and was often found sketching portraits of her care givers until very recently. Children: Audrey Dale Grant (George), Andrew Hunter Tallman, Alexander Jacob (AJ) Tallman (Connie) Grandchildren: Robert Huntington Grant (Lizz) and Captain Jacob Edwards Grant of Atlanta, GA; Hunter Kathryn Tallman and Harper Tracy Tallman of St Augustine, FLA; Henry Robert Tallman and Emily Elizabeth Tallman of Braselton, GA.
