Michael Steve Bray peacefully passed away surrounded by family on October 5th, 2026. He was born to Charles Harvey “Jack” Bray and Laura Mai Tucker Bray on September 30th, 1949. He preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carol Carter, two great grandsons, and the love of his life, Rosalie “Rollie” Bray. He is survived by his children; Darrell (Leslie) Hynson, Marty (Kathryn) Hynson, Mike (Sandy) Hynson, Tina (Scott) Scales, Paula Hedgecoth, John (Melinda) Bray, and Daniel (Rebecca) Hynson. He was Pawpaw to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Steve lived a full life with Rollie by his side. He loved entertaining, cooking, and making people laugh. He had the biggest and most tender heart of anyone you would meet. He loved giving to people, everyone! If you knew him, you got a gift or two from him. He loved being Santa and was so for many Christmases throughout the years.
He began his career working with his father at Auto Alignment, later changed to Alignment & Frame. After several years of working at the shop, he became the owner. Throughout his career, he had the pleasure of working with many family members and taught numerous mechanics the trade.
Steve was an avid sports fan. He played baseball and softball for many years. His last baseball game, he was the only one to hit a homerun, he was 58 at the time. He loved watching sports and was a loyal Braves, Georgia Bulldog, and Falcon’s fan.
