He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico where he lived until moving to New York City in 1952 where he later met his wife, Mirta Torres Rivera.
Ruben is survived by his wife Mirta, his children Yvette, Ruben Jr., Diana, Doris, Iris, Dorcas and Melissa and his 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, October 7, 2021 for visitation from 2-5 pm and a 7:00 pm memorial service at Lilburn Assembly of God at 4550 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lilburn, GA 30047.
