Ruth has a special place in heaven as she was such a kind soul. Tears are flowing as I write this message. I never imagined that Ruth would be called home before me.

My children Kristen, Ryan and I will truly miss her. Ruthie, as I fondly called her, always made my life a little easier and a whole lot better. Ruth came into our lives 24 years ago and she was such a blessing to our family. She felt our tears during the dark days and offered praise during the good times. She graciously helped pack and unpack my 5 moves over the years. Ruth knew me so well that I think she could read my mind. She put all my things in exactly the right place as if I had done it myself.

She had a heart of gold and I will miss her warm embrace and gentle smile. She truly felt empathy for others and acknowledge their pain. There are many times that I saw Ruth cry over the pain that someone was experiencing as if she was experiencing it herself. She held strong and often never allowed others to know her pains and struggles.

I love you Ruth. I am very grateful for knowing you. I will be miss you so much!
