Our spiritual sister, our mother, our grandmother, our sister, our aunt, and our friend, Yvonne Sue Gist fell asleep in death on Thursday November 2, 2023.
Yvonne was a loyal servant of the true God of the Bible, Jehovah. She was 83 years old when she died peacefully at her home in Lawrenceville GA. She was so very funny and loved to joke around with her friends and family. She loved planting and loved decorating any room she entered. But more than all of that, she loved talking about her God Jehovah and the hope he gave to all of us in his word the Bible. The hope of the new world to come with no more tears of pain and suffering and no more death. Revelation 21:3, 4. She loved these truths and she loved Jehovah, the God who will make these words of the future a reality.
We miss her dearly but we know she will not be sleeping for long because of her hope in the resurrection to life. John 5:28,29
A Memorial will take place on November 25, 2023 at 2pm
