

1941-2016
Allan; the oldest son of Robert Rowley and Kathleen Eden Rowley, was born at home in Mammoth, Utah on June 8, 1941 and after a short illness, died in Myrtle Beach, SC on February 05, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his Wife; Alice, Father; Robert, Mother; Kathleen Eden, and Brother; Hugh. Survivors include two sons; Gregory (Eilene) of Neola, Utah, Daniel (Gretchen) of Oliver Springs, TN, and Sister Kim (Rolf) Andersson of Conway, SC.
Al lived over 50-years in SLC, UT working as a carpenter, owner-operator truck driver and later as a Sales Rep for Turf Equipment. After retirement, he moved to Calabash, NC in 2004 to enjoy the warm weather, the beach and new adventures.
He was an accomplished outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, NASCAR, sports, the mountains and the beach. Al was a great cook and liked to share his talents with his guests and was a proud member of the Calabash Elks Club, where he spent many hours with friends.
A celebration of Al’s life will be held at the Calabash Elks Club on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 3:30 pm.
