Born on December 3, 1958, Anita lived a life full of warmth, strength, and quiet resilience. She was a devoted mother, a loving sister, and a cherished friend to many. Her greatest joy in life was raising her four sons—Thomas, Sean, Steven, and Patrick Crosson—who were the heart of her world.
Anita is survived by her sons and her brother, Robert Bowry. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Crosson, and her parents, Louise and Robert Bowry.
Anita spent many years working for McDonald's, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her kindness and work ethic. Later, she chose to dedicate herself fully to her family, becoming a stay-at-home mom—a role she embraced with unmatched love and dedication.
Anita had a love for the simple pleasures in life. She was an avid reader, often lost in the pages of her favorite books. She shared a passion for motorcycles with her late husband John, and together they enjoyed many rides and adventures. Her laughter could often be heard at the card table or during spirited games of bingo with her close friends. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she left behind.
Services for Mrs. Crosson will be private. Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River is serving the family.
