Anne was born on Sept 14, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts where she lived with her parents and grew up playing with her brother and cousins. She moved to Miami, Florida in 1947 where she raised her family before moving to Jensen Beach, Florida in 1979. She spent her weekends having fun with her best friends nearby on Nettles Island where you could always find her walking and hunting for sea glass to add to her collection.
In 2005, Anne retired and moved to Little River, SC to be closer to her daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she loved fiercely.
Anne worked for over 30 years for Southern Bell starting as a switchboard operator and then retiring as a construction specialist. She was very active in her community being the first woman inducted as an Elk while she lived in Jensen Beach and continued her service well into her 80s. She was a member of the VFW and many social clubs such as Ciao and loved to be with people. She never met a stranger. Anne could and would start a conversation with anyone. I would have to remind her to be cautious about being too friendly.
Anne is survived by her two daughters, Donna Stone of Longs, SC; Debi Coyle of Birmingham Alabama; three grandchildren, Dawn Fannin (John) of Charleston, SC; Paul (Sara) Brown of Myrtle Beach; Maria (Kevin) Coyle of Birmingham Alabama; three great grandchildren, Courtney Riedel; Bailey Brown; James Martin; two great-great grandchildren, Easton Riedel; Hudson Riedel; and many special friends she loved and treated as her family.
Her parents Frank and Pauline Cifaldi, a brother Frank and many cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends over the years, predeceased her.
Services will be private with immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, Anne would have loved donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a charity that was very dear to her heart and would no doubt make her smile.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.leefhandcrematory.com for the Sirianni family.
