Barbara G. Baran

Mrs. Baran passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Born on May 7, 1936 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Helen E. Gardner. Barbara was the loving wife of the late Edward John Baran.

In her early retirement years, Barbara was the dedicated wife of Edward who was terminally ill for years. She took pride and enjoyment in watching her granddaughters grow into beautiful young ladies. She always found time to take them shopping as well as the beach.

A member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Barbara was active until health issues found it difficult to attend. She remained steadfast in her faith.

Surviving are her sons, Richard S. Baran, Douglas E. Baran; granddaughters, Tara Baran, Emily Baran; and brother, William J. Gardner. Her brother, James H. Gardner and sister, Helene C. Gardner preceded Barbara in death.
