Ben (78+) passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 from natural causes.
With all of the health issues he endured, when his heart was ready to stop,
it did.
He is survived by his wife Pamelia D. Crenshaw. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Ruth Elizabeth (Smith) & Benjamin Zachery Crenshaw; the
mother of his children, Loretta (Hill) Crenshaw; & his second wife, Kathryn
Geier Crenshaw.
After graduating from Kenwood High School, Baltimore County, he served
his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. For 40+ years, Ben was employed by the
U.S. Postal Service. Golf, ocean cruising, & cross-country traveling via auto
were his passions.
Despite his many health challenges—broken neck, DBS (deep brain stimulator), pace maker, knee & shoulder replacement, his outlook on life was always forward looking & positive. He had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor that made his eyes twinkle, & a generous heart.
He is also survived by his children Valerie (Bennett) Swiger, Sharon (Jim)
Hall, & Benjamin R. (Heather) Crenshaw, Jr.; grandchildren Michael (Kylie) & Elizabeth (Kyle) Swiger, Kristin (William) Cosulich, & Sabrina (Jeff) Hart; and Corinna , Veronica, & Robert Crenshaw; & great-granddaughter Mila Loretta Cosulich; & his step-children Elizabeth (Brian) Shutler & Richard (Kimberly) Streamer, Jr.; & his step-grandchildren Christopher & Colin Shutler; Jill, Holly, & Scott Streamer.
