Bernard Paul Bradley, Jr. 87, passed away at home on Thursday. January 30, 2025. Born on January 27, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Bernard P. Bradley, Sr. and Beulah Gilbert Bradley.
On March 2, 1957, Bernard married Elaine Volb and they shared 67 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Phyllis Bradley, Marcia Attwood and was preceded in death by his son, Bernard Bradley III, his sisters, Beulah “Boo” Bradley Sano, and Marie Bradley Newman. Bernard also has nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Bernard faithfully served in the US Navy for 4 years. He then began a career in metal fabrication where he worked in sheet metal retiring from the family business; Bradley Sheet Metal.
He enjoyed his TQ racing career and golfing. He then retired and moved to Calabash in 1995 from Indian Mills, NJ.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 US-17, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. Lee Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
