Billie Carol Atwood, 80, passed away peacefully February 1, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 16, 1939 in Kannapolis, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith Radcliff Howard.
Mrs. Atwood is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray Atwood, Jr.; three sons, Ray Atwood, III, Randall K. Atwood, and Steven B. Atwood; brother, Hershal Howard; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She is predeceased by one daughter, Lailani Carol Atwood; two brothers, Stevie and Grady Howard; and one sister, Phyllis Howard Barts.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, 1260 Hwy 57, Little River, SC 29566.
