Billie Livingston Todd: Mother, sister, grandmother & friend took her final breath surrounded by loved ones at her home singing one of her favorite hymns “Amazing Grace” on Wednesday evening, June 24, 2020.

Her weak body immediately became strong as she saw her Lord and Savior and surely she is dancing on those streets of gold! We believe she was greeted by her husband, the love of her life, and her daughter, Tammy Drew Todd, who died at the age of 7, 1965, in Little River. That day by far the saddest day of her life. – BUT June 24, 2020 became her HAPPIEST Day EVER!

Billie raised and instilled into her four remaining children the LOVE of Jesus. Her passion and dedication became her life goal by spreading the love of Jesus to many on this earth. She was the light that Jesus wanted her to be and she promised Jesus to put him first in her life every day. Today her family are REJOICING with her... SHE IS WITH JESUS!!! SHE LOVED SO MUCH that it overflowed. She wouldn’t hold a grudge and she forgave just like Jesus!! .... and today she is reaping her reward in heaven with a GOLD CROWN, new body, no pain, and loving on all her loved ones that have gone before her. She left everyone with so many sweet precious memories that will last them a lifetime!!!

Billie was a homemaker for most of her life. She did work for her parents in the 50 and 60’s at “Forks Drive In” in North Myrtle Beach. She was the oldest of the 13 Livingston children!! (Most of them called her mom because she quit Wampee High School in 9th grade to take care of all her siblings so her parents could work.)

Billie married the love of her life on September 21, 1954 at the Horry County Courthouse in Conway and did not tell her parents for a few weeks. Kenneth, her husband, spilled the beans when he wanted to take her to the county fair and her mother said “no”... Kenneth was having none of that...So, the rest is history!!

Billie worked at the Curtain Factory in Loris and then ESCOD Industries (Mid-Con) on 6th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach until 1978 when she retired to take care of her children and grandchildren.

Billie and Kenneth loved to travel ....the mountains being their favorite ....Dollywood, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Pidgeon Forge. They loved spending time with each other....Kenneth loved to drive, and Billie loved to ride!

The next loves of her life are her grandchildren. She loved them all with ALL of her being. She’d babysit if they were sick or just needing a grandma fix. Billie would stop her world to comfort them or play with them. Then came those great grands!!! She could not stop talking about each one of them...rocking and spoiling them!!! They all loved to go to GG’s House.

Billie loved to cook, clean, wash clothes and work in her yard and cook that SUNDAY dinner!! Rest assured if you showed up at Billie Todd’s house around 12:30 to 1pm on Sunday – you will find a country cooking like no other!!!

Billie became a Christian at an early age and attended Wampee Baptist Church on Hwy 90 until moving to Sharon Baptist Church. She loved her church and she was very active there. Many of her closest friends are the ones she worshiped and fellowshipped with. Everyone loved Mrs. Billie. She had a permanent seat on the third row on the right side of the church – and if the church doors were open, she was there. She was happiest in church sitting with her family and her dear friends.

After becoming sick over the past several years, her hardest part was having to depend on her children to take care of her. She would ask God to take her home every day because she did not want to be a burden on anyone. Little did she know, at this time her children were tremendously blessed to spend the days and nights with her by making memories and spoiling her as she spoiled all of them. She did not want for anything. She had everything she needed and more.

She will be deeply missed by her sons and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and special friends. Billie only had one sister and 11 brothers, she is be leaving her best friend and partner in crime. Peggy and Billie did everything together until their health slowed that down. But they lived beside each other since 1973. Occasionally you would find them waving at each other from their porches.

What would Billie say to you right now? “Do not worry about me for I am home in heaven with my Jesus and family! Rejoicing everyday with no heart ache or pain. I love you ALL SO MUCH and will be here waiting on you! ALWAYS put Jesus first in your life every day and let him take care of the rest! “

Surviving: Her two sons, Kenny Todd Jr (Teresa) and Boo Boo Todd (Mandy), and two daughters, Tracie Ross (Michael), Kelly Todd. 13 Grandchildren; Kenny Todd (Kimberly), Chris Todd, Ali McDowell (Daryl), Cory Todd (Samantha), Cody Todd (Amanda), McKenzie Todd, Bryan Jordan (Amanda), Derek Jordan, Maegan Todd, Matt Johnson, Stuart Johnson, Stephen Mallard, and Kaitlyn Jordan. 8 Great Grandchildren: Cassidy McDowell, Daysha Todd, Breanna Todd, Braxton Todd, Tucker Todd, Kylee Todd, Ellis Todd, Lydia Jordan and her two fur babies Maggie and Vallie. Sister: Peggy Willard (Starlin), Brothers: Bobby Livingston, Larry (Doo Dee) Livingston, James Livingston (Debbie), Terry (Woosie) Livingston (Suzanne), Elton Livingston. Preceded Death: Her daughter: Tammy Todd; Her husband: Kenneth Watson Todd, Her Brothers; Wayne Livingston, Tracy Livingston, Donald Livingston, Ronald Livingston, Barry Livingston, and Sammy Livingston.

In lieu of flowers Mrs. Billie loved her church so much and will be asking for donations to Sharon Baptist Church 7610 Hwy 90 Longs, SC 29568 in her memory.

Gravesite Service: June 27, 2010 at Southern Palms Cemetery in North Myrtle Beach at 10am. Due to Covid-19 there will be no tents or chairs. Please bring your umbrella for sun protection. The family will be having lunch at her home in Little River following the service. All are welcome to come. The service will be on Facebook live for those that cannot make it or feel concern. Mrs. Billie would completely understand and wants everyone well and safe.
