Candyce McLeod

Our beloved Candy entered her heavenly home on July 10th, 2026. She was medical professional who began her nursing education at Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina and finished it as a Nurse Practitioner at Barry University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Candy’s nursing career spanned 37 years in Florida and South Carolina. She Practiced in Miami, Charleston, and Horry County, serving Myrtle Beach and Conway as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Advanced Certifications in Infectious Disease.

Candy was a Born-Again Christian dedicated to her patients both physically and spiritually. She was a daughter of Bert and Jacque Flowers of Florence, South Carolina and is survived by her mother, a sister, Machelle Young, two brothers, Rick and Gil Flowers, all of Florence South Carolina and her two sons, Morgan and Conner McLeod both of Conway, South Carolina.

Although we rejoice in Candy’s assurance of a perfect hereafter life, she will be sorely missed in this one.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence, South Carolina, on Tuesday July 28, 2026, at 10:00 am.
