Carla Ann Harker

Born on March 16, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska, Carla was the daughter of the late Carlton and Rita Saterlee Harker. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech, Carla worked in computer technology until her retirement.

After moving to Myrtle Beach, Carla became an active resident of the Senior Living at TerraBella Myrtle Beach where she made many treasured friends. She was a member of the Carolina Forest Community Church.

Carla is survived by her dear brother and sister-in-law, Douglas “Doug” and Paula Harker; niece, Kayla Harker; grand-niece, Iriee Lochart; and a host of loved cousins, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her nephew, Dameon Burch.

She was privately laid to rest beside her parents in Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem, NC. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Carolina Forest Community Church, 1381 Carolina Forest Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. There will also be a service held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday May 14, 2026, at TerraBella Myrtle Beach, 3736 Robert M. Grissom Parkway, Myrtle Beach.
