Carmela Novak, 92, of North Myrtle Beach, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of the late Anton Novak.

Carmela was born on June 6, 1932 in Avellino, Italy.

Daughter of the late Matteo and Antonietta (Sementa) Petrillo.

She retired as a designer from Jones of New York after 35 years of service.

She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Ave. N.,

North Myrtle Beach. Visitation will be from 10-11 am at the church. Entombment will be in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by two beloved daughters; Maryann Zizzo (Joseph) of Woods IL, and Sonya Novak of Philadelphia, PA.

Two grandsons; Joseph Zizzo and Anthony Zizzo.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to McLoed Hospice or The Alzheimer's Association.

Lee Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements.
